Long Service Awards Night
As part of measures to retain staff and boast the morale of the staff of the Credit Union. The Board of Directors and Management instituted the Long Service Award Scheme for staff members who have served the Union for ten (10) consecutive years. In order to give a legal backing, its institution was enshrined in the Conditions of Service for Staff and amended in the Operational Guide for Staff.
The maiden edition of the scheme was organized in 2014 and two staff members namely Mr. James Kwaku Yabedo (Manager) and Mr. Francis Adjei of blessed memory (Deputy Manager, Administration & Finance) were honoured. The second edition was organized on 27th December, 2020 and four (4) distinguished staff members were honoured.
They were;1. Ms. Helena Oforiwaa Quaque (Deputy Manager, Operations)
2. Mr.Michael Adjei-Effah (Loans Officer)
3. Ms. Anane Amponsah Berna (Chief Teller)
4. Ms. Sarah Gyimah (Branch Officer)
During the same ceremony, four (4) staff members were presented with their letters of promotion to various ranks within the Credit Union. This was in recognition of their hard work and commitment to duty. They were;
1. Ms. Anane Amponsah Berna to the position of Accounts Officer in-charge Teller Service.
2. Mr. Frank Awuah to Marketing Officer in-charge of Social Media.
3. Mr. Emmanuel Kyere to Marketing Officer
4. Mr. Thomas Owusu to Marketing Officer
The recipients for Long Service Award received citation of honour and an undisclosed cash prize from the Board of Directors. All staff members were urged to continue to work assiduously for the growth of the Credit Union.
